It's true, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Keep in mind though...

Use your images to support exactly what it is you are talking about (with words and content) to your target audience.

The "layout and feel" of your website, brochure or massage business cards and very important.

Images and pictures can support this, yet often times I see far too many pictures and not enough content or information. Yes, that massage picture of the soothing waterfall is nice, yet is it a strong enough call to action to get prospective clients to call you?

"What's In It For Me?"

Prospective clients are looking for a solution. "What's in it for me," they ask. Excellent content with specific pictures aligned with your massage marketing content answers their questions.

Most people are very visual creatures. Satisfy their visual needs to coordinate with your written massage marketing and massage advertising word.

Although I place a lot of emphasis on professional images, this doesn't mean that you cannot take your own photographs. If your images lack personality, don't show the real 'you,' then people cannot form a connection with you. People like 'real.' Just look at the social networks and media. Do the best you can and you'll be fine.

Understand Basic Terminology For Advertising

Quality pictures and graphics are a must as well. Images for your massage website will be different than those for your printed material. Resolution, pixels, screen size ... Ask your printer or webmaster what style and quality they need, then provide it.

Also, you don't have to pay a ton for your pictures. Yes, I do recommend you purchase high quality pictures rather than take them yourself. You can get away with creating your own Massage Videos, but in my opinion, pictures are different. Massage videos by their very nature are dynamic and fun; pictures are more static and people will stare at them more critically. Once again, you want pictures to suppliment your message, not detract from it.
