What type of sheets do you use?

Fitted or flat?

Do you use flannel? How about an electric blanket?

What color sheets do you use? Why?

Are there stain resistant sheets?

Who is your favorite manufacturer? Why?

Who has the highest quality sheets? Who should we avoid? What distributor has the best deal and savings on linens?

Do you use some exotic material for your sheets? Are they Organic, 100% cotton, poly/cotton? Something unique?

Are all sheets created equal?

How about blankets? I have several different blankets I use for my clients wants and needs. How about you?

Remember that some people are sensitive to certain fabric fibers.

Have you ever noticed that scratchy feeling in a polyester/cotton blend, inexpensive sheet? That's the low quality polyester regular spun construction. Now, when you get into the polyester microfibers, you recieve a much better quality weave and much softer feel!

One drawback of polyester is that it bonds to oil, leaving stain removal a chore and sometimes an impossibility!

The best sheets I've used are quality 100% plain cotton with a high thread count, or a soft 100% cotton flannel sheet. I find the texture of the flannel sheets also helps camouflage oil stains, if present.

Here's another important point that many therapists seem to forget about until they run out of massage sheets, and that is to purchase ENOUGH massage sheets!

If you work in a spa, or a location that provides you with sheets you don't have to worry about this, yet if you are an independent contractor such as myself, make sure you purchase a lot of sheets!

Here's an example: I typically perform four (4) massage sessions per day. Ok, that's now four sets of sheets I have to wash. What if I don't feel like doing laundry that night? Well, then the next day I perform four more massage sessions. Now I've eight (8) sets of sheets that need to be washed.

How many sets do I now have left that are clean?? I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. Either purchase at least eight sets of sheets or you will be doing laundry every night ;)
