GARDEN STATE CENTER FOR HOLISTIC HEALTH

by Sheri Stout
(Toms River, NJ)

I choose this school simply because it was the closest to me and as luck would have it, was owned and operated by Gloria Coppola. (14 yrs ago) She was, and still is, a fabulous teacher and mentor. Except for a 3 yr gap, I have been practicing massage therapy since then. As great as the school was, it was the education I gained upon entering the field that fueled my passion. Gloria's school not only focused on anatomy, techniques, etc but also focused on the spirituality (druming circles, etc) that is, in my opinion, 50% of a session. I work in an environment where there is a turn-over of therapists so I see alot of newcomers to the field. Are schools still teaching spiritual, meditation, love, etc. I see therapists coming out of school just looking to make a buck. Sad. Gloria, if you read this, Thank you for your love, compassion, and sense of humor.

The Massage Program at Garden State Holistic Health not only taught a vast array of Massage Modalities, but enabled students to build their toolbox for life.
Yoga/Meditation, and the opportunity to share Healing Circles kept us so well grounded, and in tune with each other. White light, and healing energy from the universe to all the shares this site.
I cannot find the "Jewel Of Tranquiity Tea" anywhere. :)x

Love
