MASSAGE CE CREDIT: Eight (8) massage CE contact hours with certificate.

TUITION: Cost for this seminar is: $125.00.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: Please bring two (2) bed sheets, personal towel, and lubrication (preferably non-allergenic for all types of skin). Also, please bring a notebook and a writing utensil for note taking.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

It is extremely important nowadays to know how to perform clinically oriented pre-natal or pregnancy massage. This is a very important target market that many massage therapists are missing out on!

There is no doubt that if the expecting mother during her pregnancy receives specialized massage therapy treatment on a weekly basis, this will promote the well-being of the expecting mother as well as the developing baby.

What's most important is this: There is documented evidence that pre-natal or pregnancy massage can prevent postpartum psychotic depression, which now-a-days is expanding to pandemic proportions!

While in class the majority of time will be spent with actual hands-on training.

Also note: Participants will not only learn hands-on techniques, but Boris will also explain how to promote pre-natal or pregnancy massage (for your own massage business!) to gynecologists as well!

Boris will also emphasize and teach you the importance of how to explain pre-natal and pregnancy massage to women's organizations, who would love further information on this topic! COURSE DESCRIPTION:

During this seminar, Boris will teach us full body stretching techniques for the neck, upper back region, shoulder, legs and spinal column. The majority of this class will be hands-on training.

The techniques Boris will teach and we will learn and apply with hands-on training are critical in contributing to normal muscular tension maintenance. This will include improvement in the client's flexibility and increasing range of motion.

Stretching techniques are an important part of massage therapy for the sports enthusiast as well as those seeking stress relief!
