As the CE coordinator at Northwest Health Careers here in Las Vegas, I have a great opportunity to be added any class I want. I don't mention this to brag, yet mention it for this reason:

Attending many different massage CEUs has expanded my knowledge base and raised my awareness!

It's obvious that unless we have unlimited time and money, we cannot attend as many seminars as we desire. Yet, I really must urge you to attend as many as you can! Even if you have your required massage CEUs.

An example of raising my awareness to areas I'm not paying attention to was when I attended Karina Braun's seminar called, Personal Body Maintenance for the Massage Therapist, hosted by Northwest Health Careers.

I'm a big, strong guy, so proper body mechanics have never been a top priority for me. Well, as anyone who has injured themselves can tell you, it's easy to injure yourself regardless of how big and strong we may think we are. What a great lesson learned that day!

So please, if you have the money, time and opportunity to attend any continuing education seminars, please do! Especially if they are outside your current interests!
